Why partnership matters
Leadership development works best when it brings together deep sector knowledge with expertise in transformative learning. Neither the National Landscapes Association nor Hawkwood could deliver this programme alone.

National Landscapes Association
The National Landscapes Association is the collective voice for the 46 National Landscapes (formerly Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty) across England and Wales.
Led by CEO John Watkins, the Association works to ensure these special places thrive as living landscapes where nature flourishes, everyone is welcome, and communities and businesses prosper.
The Association led the landmark 2023 rebranding from AONBs to National Landscapes, uniting the network under a single identity that reflects the national importance of these places.
Hawkwood Centre for Future Thinking
Set in a Grade II listed house and biodynamically run estate in the Cotswolds, Hawkwood is a charity offering a curated programme and space for learning and residencies in the arts, wellbeing, sustainability, and transformative leadership.
Led by CEO Alicia Carey, Hawkwood believes creativity, personal growth and a connection to the natural world can inspire individuals to shape a more equitable, sustainable future.
Hawkwood also runs a Fellowship Programme supporting research and action on today's most pressing challenges, from futures thinking and climate change to creativity and peace.
Delivery and learning partners
The programme brings together world-class facilitators and contributors from across the leadership development and environmental sectors. Our delivery partners include The House (a BCorp consultancy), Create Gloucestershire, and individual experts in regenerative leadership, futures literacy, and systems change.
